This past week the City Chicks 4 Charity and their awesome members and supporters all met up at NYC's famous Paul Mole Barbershop for a night of pampering... all benefiting the amazing organization, Pencils of Promise (PoP). Our dear friends at Paul Mole gave complimentary open razor shaves, fantastic manis and pedis.. Paul Mitchell sylists shelled out new do's... and with make-up consultations, massages and heavy-handed Bulldog Gin drinks a good time was had by all! And of course King of Shaves hooked up the gift bags with the latest shaving goodies for men and women.
Adam Braun, founder of PoP mesmerized the guests with stories of his amazing charitable endeavors. PoP began with a $25 bank deposit and a simple desire to build just one school in the developing world. In less than two years, PoP has grown into an international movement of over 40,000 committed supporters who are collectively demonstrating that every person has the resounding capacity to create good.
