After a great day yesterday sailing aboard the Extreme 40, Luna, we spend Monday doing press interviews with Oscar Mead with the Isle of Wight Gazette & County Press, touring Cowes (distributing samples) and finishing off with more meetings with Oscar and Mark Turner at OC Group. Oscar is going to be sailing on the Open 60 'Artemis' in the Round the Island Race in Cowes Week on Wednesday, before readying himself for the Fastnet start, also aboard Artemis. He was also delighted to meet and chat with his sailing hero, the legendary Ellen MacArthur at the iShares Cup Race Village - Ellen had been out sailing on the BT Open 60, and chatted to Oscar about his aims & ambitions whilst waiting to go sailing with Simon le Bon!
