Will, first time I've been on your blog. I'm impressed.

Without wanting to sound sycophantic, it's quite refreshing to see an FMCG company being quite so transparent in your activities, from product design and R&D through to marketing and customer service.

And I guess to a fair extent, I sit within your target audience for your new Azur and I've been hit on the radio, online and again when you responded to my blog post, so a tip of the cap to your marketing team!

Now, of course, not everyone has a blog, but I think as the number of people, particularly my generation, increasingly research the products they are going to buy online, it becomes critical to have a decent, and TRANSPARENT web presence. (I'm sure you've heard that from your digital team, if not, give me a call).

However, I'm not naive enough to think you're potential success is all about marketing (my missus is a category manager at Johnson and Johnson for Tesco and wowzer did that open my eyes!) but in my humble opinion, you're doing a pretty good job of providing your company with a real personality, and your transparency across each of your departments cements that authenticity right through to when I next go past the male grooming products in Tesco on my way to my electric razor cleaner refills, I may, just may, want to talk about your product, and our conversations to my flatmates.

Now that's word of mouth!

(nb, This dialogue is really just practising what I preach to lots of our clients at Ogilvy PR, so thanks for that; you've helped proved my point! Now, pleeeeeease can I have my Azur?!)
