Montague Folding Mountain Bike

I have been meaning to get a bike for ages, but as the car I drive doesn't have much boot space, and i've been loathe to get a rack, i hadn't got around to buying one.

That is, until I visited the Southampton boat show over the weekend, saw the Montague folding mountain bike from the USA, and was so impressed, I bought one then and there and cycled away with it! The one I wanted to buy the chap wouldn't sell (as he'd only imported one of that type) but I'm very pleased with the one I bought.

Click here to go to their website, I think it will be a lot cheaper buying one and having it shipped from the USA, as I paid in pounds what the company is selling for dollars. But hey - that's the cost of convenience for you!

Having ridden around on it all weekend, it's simply like a mountain bike, plus the added benefit you can fold it into a bag in about a minute, so I was able to take it on the Red Jet with me to Cowes, rather than leaving it chained up, or having to go on the car ferry.

Result! Two folding wheels better than traipsing around on shanks's pony anyday!
