Dear reader, if you would have told me that back in 1993 I'd have spent the day filming a TV commercial with top England player and the captain of Chelsea FC I'd have said 'I'll believe it when I see it'. But, today, I'm delighted to announce that King of Shaves have signed a two year, major product endorsement deal with John Terry, Chelsea skipper and England star defender through 2008. Not only that, but we shot King of Shaves First Ever Television Commercial - "Be The Best You Can Be....Be A King" which was simply AWESOME. And when you see it, on (breaking mid-May) Cinema, TV (pre-World Cup) or online (watch this space) via the magic of podcasting, I'm sure you'll agree that John Terry is one special talent, with his objectives aligned with that of King of Shaves - simply to Be The Best He (and we) can be. Many thanks to everyone who was involved in today's shoot - in the last 10 days we've crammed in what would normally take 3 months to arrange. Especial thanks to Aaron Lincoln of Icon Sports Management, Nathan Pillai of Gifted, Brian Maclaurin of Brian Maclaurin Associates, the guys of BIG Advertising who came up with a simply STUNNING yet so simple creative (and nailed it) and the cast of dozens that supports these guys.
