The Times City Diary (published 11 September 2008) has noted:
Supermarket sweep, but with a difference
Skulduggery in the supermarket aisles? Will King is an entrepreneur trying to break into the shaving market with his King of Shaves company, formed in the 1990s. While at his local supermarket, he found that someone seemed to have removed his Azor brand from the racks. He posted this on his blog and customers wrote in with their own experiences. One found that someone had gone to the trouble of turning all the product around so that no one could see the name. A former employee of a competitor claimed by e-mail that this was standard practice in the industry. King is asking customers for further sightings. It's a jungle out there, I tell you.
So if you have noticed anything like this, please take a pic on your mobile phone and email it to us with the store details and the date.

We were absolutely delighted today to present a cheque for £15,000 to Capital Radio's designated London charity, Help a London Child. Although Will King couldn't be at the ceremony, Tim Wright (Commercial Director) and Jenny Moore (Head of Brand Communications) joined Margherita Taylor, Lisa Snowden and Johnny Vaughan of Capital to hand over the cheque.
Princella, Chelsea, Stephen and Luke came along too, all aged between 7 to 8, and are some of the children the charity helps from the Catholic Children's Society. They had great fun, watching Johnny and Lisa broadcast the Breakfast show, and later having a bit of fun with Lisa Snowden.
The money raised is the result of a 7 day promotion on Capital 95.8 to celebrate the launch of the King of Shaves Azor - the first British designed and made razor in over 100 years. Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon hosted the breakfast show live at Canary Wharf in front of hundreds of city workers, where volunteers shaved their hair off and King of Shaves donated £15,000 as a result. Johnny was the first in the barbers chair to have his head shaved by co-host Lisa Snowdon to raise money for the charity.
Many thanks to everyone who came along and to those who individually donated money, taking the total to approximately £35,000. King of Shaves Azor = Shaving Closer, Lasting Longer, Costing Less and raising Money. Great stuff.
